A popular singer, actress, and dancer, Mitzi Gaynor (born in 1931) was recognised for her singing and dancing abilities, bright-eyed personality, and chirpy charm. She starred in films ('South Pacific', 'Anything Goes', 'The Joker Is Wild') with Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and Gene Kelly, also working on television and on Broadway. 'Mitzi' her 1959 album presented here, was the first of a string of commercially successful albums that placed her in the spotlight as a singer.
