Henning Pertiet - Masterpieces Volume 1

Henning Pertiet's music is deeply rooted in Blues. Influenced by Modern Jazz � la Thelonius Monk or African Jazz played by Abdulla Ibrahim, or recalling his early experiences with Rock Music from ZZ Top, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple etc - even Classics from JS Bach, Erik Satie or Arvo P�rt madetheir way into Henning's art of playing the Blues Piano - and made it so colourful and alive. In the end, it does not matter, whether Henning Pertiet is playing the Blues or Bach - he is playing himself.
