Amalia Rodrigues - Amalia No Chiado

An album recorded in 1952 at the Electric and Musical Industries Ltd (EMI) studios in Abbey Road, London was believed to be the first recording of Am lia Rodrigues for the label, but it turned out that the tapes from Rua Nova do Almada (where the Valentim de Carvalho store was located) were dated as of 1951, making it the first and oldest recordings of Am lia.The album � Am lia no Chiado � compiles these first recordings at the Valentim de Carvalho store in Chiado, as well as songs that had never been released or heard before.
