Cited as music to celebrate in 2018 by NPR.The 7 includes two Dessa songs; Quinine (available for the first time in physical format) and Boy Crazy (the demo version of the song that's on Chime).The 7 also includes a reading of an unreleased Dessa short story, And Now A Short Recess, voiced by her.Dessa recently sang Congratulations on the #1 Billboard Album The Hamilton Mixtape; and also sang on Lin-Manuel Miranda's benefit for Puerto Rico song Almost Like Praying along with Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Camila Cabello, Luis Fonsi, and Gloria Estefan.
