Thad Jones - Eclipse

After establishing himself as one of the best big band leaders since the '60s, Thad Jones re-located to Denmark where he set about putting the 19 man Eclipse big band together.Taking the cream of Denmark's jazz set plus some U.S. infiltrators (such as legendary drummer Ed Thigpen), Eclipse proved to be a huge success. Six tracks from the studio recordings, the other half a dozen are live. All are making their appearance on CD for the first time.
