Willie The Lion Smith - Lion: Live

A previously unreleased live set recorded in Zurich in 1949. Although normally a solo performer, this set captures Willie in a trio format. The repertoire consists of originals, Fats Waller & Clarence Williams tunes, Gershwin and even Chopin's 'Polonaise'! The trio hit their groove from the first number and never stop swinging thoughout the entire concert.
