Ray Bryant - Hollywood Jazz Beat + Take A Bryant Step

While pianist Ray Bryant's most celebrated recordings were made with his trio, he also cut albums in other formats, such as 'Hollywood Jazz Beat' (Columbia CS-8667), which showcases the pianist playing famous movie themes backed by an orchestra arranged and conducted by Richard Wess. It is also the case of the bonus album included here, 'Take a Bryant Step' (Cadet LPS 801), presenting him with an orchestra arranged and conducted by Richard Evans. The latter LP appears here on CD for the first time ever!
