Johnson recorded profusely both as a leader and with various different groups. Presented here are Johnson's two LPs as a leader for Capitol Records in their entireties: This Must Be the Plas! (Capitol Records ST-1281) and Mood for the Blues (Capitol Records ST-1503). Two songs from a rare 1959 single, which appear here on CD for the first time ever, have been added as a bonus.
