Ornette Coleman - Ornette!

The Poll Winners label is devoted to the reissue of albums that received the maximum 5-Star review ratings in the iconic jazz magazine, DownBeat, this release includes Ornette Coleman's seminal album Ornette! (Atlantic SD1378) in its entirety. It features the saxophonist in a quartet format with Don Cherry, Scott LaFaro, and Ed Blackwell. Recorded right after the classic LP Free Jazz, the four tracks from Ornette! were taped during a single session, which also produced three extra songs, added here as a bonus.
