Leonard Bernstein - West Side Story (The Original Soundtrack Recording)

This reissue presents the complete original film soundtrack, as a special limited edition on 180g audiophile vinyl.

West Side Story, with music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, was one of both Broadway and Hollywood's greatest hits. The 1957 Broadway show ran for 732 performances before going on tour, and the production was nominated for six Tony Awards. The 1961 film version received eleven Academy Awards nomination and won ten.

The film is regularly screened on television, most recently by the BBC earlier this year (2025) in a series of iconic musicals.
