Awake The Dreamer - Holocene

Formed in 2015 amidst the cultural swirl of Stockholm, Awake The Dreamer emerged as a powerful Melodic Post-Hardcore/Metalcore act, built on the foundations of childhood and high school friendships. Their journey into the music scene kicked off with the release of their EP Grow in 2016, quickly propelling them to stages across Europe and Asia, where they shared the limelight with notable bands like Ice Nine Kills, Northlane, Adept, and Crystal Lake.

Their sonic narrative took a significant leap in September 2019 with the debut album Damaged Souls, released via Arising Empire. The album, a 10-track exploration of hard-hitting melodies intertwined with metalcore intensity, featured collaborations with genre stalwarts such as Robert Ljung of Adept in Vigilant and Ryo Kinoshita of Crystal Lake in Atmosphere.

Despite the challenges of being a nascent band during extensive international tours and facing the tumult of the pandemic and lineup changes, Awake The Dreamer has not only persevered but evolved. This resilience fueled a rebirth, prompting them to develop a fresh, authentic sound that marks a new chapter in their career. Today, as they resume releasing music, their renewed passion and pride resonate in every note, signaling a thrilling comeback for fans old and new.
