Renato D'Aiello - Satori - The Angel

This album represents Renato's first album with a string quartet - a long held ambition. The album features his regular international quartet of himself on saxophones, Pianist Bruno Montrone, bassist Nicola Muresu and the drummer Gasper Bertoncelj.

Strings are from violinists Jamie Cambell, and Violeta Barrena, Meghan Cassidy on viola and cellist Greg Riddell. The album also features vocalists Michael Demarco, Deelee Dube and Jeff Otto.

Renato has for the last four years, in addition to international work, been resident every Monday evening at the upstairs bar of Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club.
