John Law - Re-Creations Vol.2

Continuing John Laws Re-Creations series of albums, Vol. 2 features solo piano versions of jazz compositions ranging early swing and stride piano classics, to more contemporary tunes by Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Kenny Wheeler and Pat Metheny, plus some classical too.

The CD starts with some dazzling pianism on Chopin's �tune Opus 10 No. 4 and the album closes with Bach's chorale prelude Sleepers Wake. And everything recorded out in Italy by ECM engineer Stefano Amerio, on a beautiful Fazioli grand piano.
