Vassilis Tsabropoulos, Arild Andersen & John Marshall - Achirana

2022 reissue of this 2000 album by Arild Andersen who introduced his new trio with the highly gifted Greek pianist Vassilis Tsabropoulos, who makes his ECM debut with 'Achirana'. They are joined by veteran British drummer John Marshall, previously a member of Eberhard Weber's 'Colours' band. Their programme of all original material casts new light on the post-Bill Evans idiom.
