This brace of live 'Jubilee' shows were made in 1943 specifically to entertain the U.S. military during WWII, and this is their debut appearance on CD. The first show features an inspired performance from Louis Armstrong and his big band, with a set from the Red Callander trio. Set two includes a star packed Count Basie band and a wonderful recording of the Art Tatum Trio, inlcuding the showstopping version of 'Exactly Like You.'
