This 10 CD box set features 160 songs by legendary folk artist and singer-songwriter Woody Guthrie, including his best-know song This Land is Your Land. The left-wing Guthrie was one of the biggest influences on the US Folk revival scene of the 1950s and 60s, whilst songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, Bruce Springsteen, Robert Hunter, Pete Seeger, Joe Strummer and Billy Bragg, have acknowledged Guthrie as a major influence. On this box set Guthrie is supported by his contemporaries including Cisco Houston, Sonny Terry, Brownie McGhee and Leadbelly.
