African Voices Anthology takes us across the continent from north to the south on a voyage of discovery of the greatest contemporary singers. Some, including Cape Verde�s Cesaria Evora, South Africa�s Mahotella Queens, Gabon�s Pierre Akendengue and Angola�s Bonga, are already legends, while others, such as Guinea�s Sia Tolno, Reunion Island�s Nathalie Natiemb� and Chad�s Mounira Mitchala, are now opening a new chapter in the history of black music.
