Shanti Paul Jayasinha - Round Trip

This is Shanti Paul Jayasinha's first album as leader and is a collection of unique soundscapes in which he has raided the world rhythm bank and produced a cornucopia of contagious rhythms and melodies from around the world. The project gives Paul a platform to showcase his creative gifts as band leader and composer as well as his incredible skills as a player. His standing is reflected in the list of jazz personalities who wanted to be a part of this work. Names such as Alex Wilson, Paul Booth, Tim Garland and Ingrid Laubrock are featured alongside Jayasinha on the album.
