Kitaro crafts Kojiki: A Story In Concert (Disc 1) from the ancient chronicle that recounts the birth of Japan and its people. The video documents a memorable performance from his 1990 world-tour.Disc 2, An Enchanted Evening, was recorded 5 years later. Full and dramatic, yet surprisingly intimate, Kitaro transports the listener on a far-reaching East meets West musical journey filmed during concert tour of America.In a special world peace event, Kitaro and his ensemble performed at the magnificent Yakushiji temple captured on Disc 3, Daylight Moonlight: Live In Yakushiji. The revered shrine is also the final resting place of Genjo Sanzo, whose journey on the ancient Silk Road more than a millennium ago inspired the performance.Presenting a totally unique visual experience, Kojiki And The Universe (Disc 4) merges Kitaro's GRAMMYr Nominated music from the album Kojiki with space-age photographic scenes of the Universe. The film features time-lapse images, expertly intertwined with real-time films in cooperation with NASA and Kyoto University.
