Henrik Thomsen/Ulrich Stark - More French Pieces

This album features two excellent Danish musicians in love with the luxuriant French repertoire of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Henrik Dam Thomsen (cello) and Ulrich St�rk (piano) explore the sensual miniatures of Gabriel Faur�, the melodious grace of Camille Saint-Sa�ns and the stylistic purity of Louis Vierne in beautiful contrast to the fragmented and virtuosic impressionism of Claude Debussy.
