Ara is a band from the very north of Sweden and claims their space in the meeting between the Sami tradition, modern musical elements and visionary energy. Ara creates new paths for jojk as an art form. A musical meeting that bridged cultural borders. Vuoste Vird�i (Against the stream) praises and pays homage to all those who over the years taught their children the Sami language, in the face of cultural pressure and shame.
