Benny Greb - Moving Parts Live

Winnner of Germany's prestigious Echo Jazz national drummer award, Benny Greb leads this impressive power trio known as 'Moving Parts' alongside guitarist Chris Montague and keyboard-player Kit Downes. In November 2014, the trio embarked on an extended tour of Germany, which resulted in the current live release.

Benny Greb spent several weeks going through the recordings of the entire tour and making final mixes with his sound engineer Sven Peks. The powerful material undoubtedly goes beyond the jazz genre. A bold statement merging electronic sounds, indie vibes and jazz. It's wonderful to hear how casually the musicians destroy the boundaries between genres, leaving a new way of thinking in their wake.
