Except for a couple of later studio tracks, the 1960 European tour by the Miles Davis Quintet marked the last recorded collaboration between Miles and John Coltrane. Presented here is the quintet's complete Kurhaus concert in Scheveningen, Holland on April 9, 1960. Shortly after the tour, Coltrane left the quintet and formed his own groundbreaking quartet with pianist McCoy Tyner, bassist Jimmy Garrison, and drummer Elvin Jones.
