Mannerchor Bruckner 12 - Bruckner: Choirs Vol. 2

With his M�nnerchorvereinigung and the brass ensemble of Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, Thomas Kerbl presents the second edition of secular men's choirs. Bruckner's own choir experience as a bass and his activity as a musical director formed the basis for a vast number of choir works, in which the large quantity of secular works displays a hitherto hardly known facet in Bruckner's oeuvre, as he is frequently reduced to his function as a church musician. The M�nnerchorvereinigung is supported by Christian Schmidbauer, the soloists Michael Nowak, Matth�us Schmidlechner and Martin Kiener, tenor, Markus Schulz and Walter Johannes Fischer, bass, and Philipp Sonntag on the organ.
