Carlotta Malquori, Andrea D'Amato - En Variant - Works for Violin & Piano

Violinist Carlotta Malquori and pianist Andrea D' Amato are an established duo and present themselves here with a program of works for violin and piano by French and Belgian composers of the 19th and 20th centuries. The passionate sonata by the Belgian composer Guillaume Lekeu (1870-1894), who unfortunately died far too early, is a particularly worthwhile discovery.
