Ana Patan - Spice, Gold and Tales Untold

A decade in the making, Ana Patan's 'Spice, Gold and Tales Untold' is an all-analog album tracked to two inch tape. Patan's songwriting features intelligent lyrics focused on the unfolding human condition, micro and macro. Her vocals are deep, soulful and kinetically intertwine with the songs' very creative arrangements, which are limited to drums, bass, guitar, and vocal, with minimal effects or post-production processing.

Patan covers all guitars, and has assembled quite the cabal of collaborators, like heavy-head Devin Townsend (Steve Vai, Strapping Young Lad, Devin Townsend Project) fusion bass legend Jonas Hellborg (Ginger Baker, John McLaughlin, Michael Shrieve) Jonathan Herrera (Zigaboo Modeliste, Stanley Jordan, Cyrus Chestnut) and drummer Zoltan Csorsz (Flower Kings, Tangent).
