Bcj/Suzuki - Gloria in excelsis Deo: Celebrating the completion of the recording of Johann Sebastian Bach's sacred cantatas

Although Bach Collegium Japan makes regular appearances abroad, many of those who have been impressed and moved by the ensemble's recordings of Bach's sacred cantatas will have had few opportunities to experience them in concert. The present Blu-ray disc offers a chance of seeing, as well as hearing, the BCJ and Masaaki Suzuki on their home ground: the Shoin Chapel in Kobe where the entire series of cantatas � 55 discs � was recorded during the years 1995 to 2013.
