Melba Ramos - Melba Ramos: Tres poemas, Op. 81, Siete canciones amatorias

Puerto Rican soprano Melba Ramos studied at the Pablo Casals Conservatory of Music in San Juan, the capital city of her home country. She distinguished herself by winning several opera singing prizes. After a period with the Opera Studios in Cologne and in Wuppertal, she proceeded as a coloratura soprano in 2003 to the Ensemble of the Volksoper in Vienna, where she is still active today. She has enjoyed a number of guest engagements at the Komische Oper Berlin, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, as well as at numerous other opera houses, including those in Bonn, Mannheim, Bremen, Kassel, Hamburg, Hanover, Saarbr�cken and Nuremberg.
