Arimany/Arts String Quartet - Franz & Carl Doppler: The Complete Flute Music, Vol. 12/12

This is the final volume in our 12-album edition of Doppler's complete music for flute(s), including a number of arrangements. Flautist Claudi Arimany, who devised the project, presents works by composers that are dedicated to Franz Doppler, or built on motifs from his various operas. Arimany spent decades researching this project, inspiring many famous musicians to become involved in its realisation. After four years, Capriccio is pleased to have reached the final volume, and proud to close another gap in musical history on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Doppler's birth, which falls in 2021.
