The original music tapes with the scores by Alessandro Cicognini for the five movies about the character of Don Camillo, inspired by the novels by Giovannino Guareschi, were considered lost forever, but the music scores were reconstructed in 2009 by Maestros Federico Ermirio and Fabrizio Francia. Performed by Orchestra Sinfonica del Conservatorio A.Vivaldi di Alessandria, conducted by Marcello Rota. This gave the chance to Cinevox Record to release them for the joy of the soundtracks fans around the world.
