Revival London Cast - Listen To The Wind

Re-issue of the Vivian Ellis musical 'Listen to the Wind' starring Paula Wilcox.When 'Listen to the Wind' was revived at the King's Head in 1996 it became an instant hit. Tickets were like gold dust. This revival is the first since it's original presentation in the West End in the 1950's and featured stage and screen star Paula Wilcox who heads this production. The composer Vivian Ellis helped rework it, wrote three new songs and oversaw the book changes and the major alteration of changing the badies from gypsies to more politically correct pirates. 'Listen to the Wind' joyously sprang forth on the handkerchief sized stage of the King's Head true to the show's original magical concept. Sadly Vivian Ellis died shortly before the production reached the stage and did not witness the glorious show he had helped create.
