Imle - Failte Isteach

Based around the duo of MC Muip�ad - an Irish Language rapper from Conamara in Galway & Cian Mac C�rthaigh a Dublin-based musician & producer - the goal of IML� is to mix musical styles & artforms together in a way that has never been seen or heard before - particularly in the Irish Language. IML�'s much lauded self-titled debut album explored the meaning of life, our relationship with the planet and finding hope in despair. The album received many awards and saw the group invited to perform on stages & festivals all over the Ireland and the world including Celtic Connections (Glasgow, Scotland), Electric Picnic (Laois, Ireland), F�ile na Geala� (Meath, Ireland) and SUNS EUROPE (Udine, Italy)Lyrically, the album covers many different themes - from a call to action against intolerance, xenophobia & racism (D�iseann Muid Suas) to the highly unrealistic environment of social media with imagery & profiles depicting perfection (�AD) but ultimately the message of the album is to celebrate the small beautiful things, the everyday and a shared life - as expressed on their first single from the album Do Chuid Jeans.
