Following on from the superb and well-received first volume, we bring you a second volume of electronics, synth pop, cold wave and minimal tracks culled from the archives of the legendary Color Tapes cassette label, a key player in the 1980's UK underground scene. Many of these tracks originally came out on cassette micro-editions back in the day; then again, we're also bringing you several previously unreleased selections too! Includes rare cuts by the likes of Lives of Angels, Disintegrators, The Lord, WeR7, Mystery Plane and Berserk in a Hayfield. The 36-page booklet is a reprint of issue one of Color Tapes' own Purple Twilight fanzine from 1985, which features articles on Lives of Angels, Modern Art, Legendary Pink Dots, and Cleaners From Venus--a rare glimpse into the weird and wonderful ways of the 80's UK cassette underground scene.
