The album Melodia Mediterranea is a collection of art songs based on the folk music of the Mediterranean region. It takes up melodies and traditional texts, many of which are still sung today in Italy, Greece and Spain. The special atmosphere and emotional depth of Mediterranean music can be felt in the fusion of accordion, piano or vihuela with the voice.
