the Scottish music scene, such as Cheap Teeth, Pressure Retreat and Catholic Action, the five-piece have brought their collective experience together under an enthralling new guise. A fresh and powerful sound that is familiar and fun. Conscious Pilot, a vibe to make you shake, rattle and roll. Founded by Joe Laycock and Jack Sharp as a successor to theatrical punk group Cheap Teeth, the pair birthed the project from their joint love of immersive, beat-driven soundscapes and subtle shifts. Featuring members of Catholic Action and Pressure Retreat, the band aims to urge the listeners ear into progressively choppy waters whilst simultaneously grounding them in firm lyrical soil.
