Monyaka - Reggaenomics

Monyaka (Swahili for 'good luck') are a six-piece, Jamaica-born reggae act, based in Brooklyn, NY originally foundedin 1974. � 1982 they released the album Reggaenomics on Easy Street record label � Includes the UK hit 'Go Deh Yaka' (patois for 'Go To The Top) and reached #14 in the UK charts. It cleverly fused reggae and contemporary R&B.
