With a 20-year history of making music together, the award-winning Australian piano trio Trichotomy have crafted a sound that deftly blends captivating hook driven melodies, intricate rhythms and intuitive group improvising. With recent collaborative projects in Australia completed they now unveil 'To Vanish', released with the much-lauded Australia label Earshift Music.
'To Vanish', showcases the bands ability to synthesis a spectrum of concepts, extending the sound world first created on the 'Known/Unknown' album. It grabs the listener from the first track, with a sonically surprising journey in store. As drummer John Parkers explains, It's different from anything we've previously released. I think so much of the stuff we've been working on, the electronics, the projects with percussion and Danny�all of this has translated into a lush, fluid sound.
