Originally recorded in 1974, Dizzy's Big 4 consists of Joe Pass on guitar, Ray Brown on bass, Mickey Roker on drums, and, of course, the legendary Dizzy Gillespie; one of the greatest, if not the greatest, Jazz trumpeters of all time. This is truly one of Gillespie's best small-group recordings from the latter portion of his career, and is a necessary addition to all Jazz collections.
