Val Bonetti - A World Of Lullabies

Val Bonetti is an acoustic guitarist and composer from Milan, 'A World of Lullabies' is his fourth release, his first concept album inspired by traditional lullabies from around the world. Starting from essential melodies, discovered after careful research, Val intends to offer a different, not philological, point of view. Most of these tunes might be considered as new compositions, yet preserving these precious chants in their wombs, inspired by the imaginary voice of Mother Earth revealing itself in the last track of the album.After an initial process of adaptation and composition on the guitar, artists from different backgrounds were involved. Almost all the tracks were recorded live and most of the duets have improvised sections. In just a few cases the lockdown and the distance did not allow the musicians work together in the same studio.
