Nenad Vasilic - Bass & Strings

Nenad Vasilic's new album Bass & Strings with around 20 excellent musicians from different parts of the world will be released in mid-July by Galileo Music. This is the 14th album by the outstanding European double bass player, bandleader and composer, featuring several highly original ensembles. The album Bass & Strings contains 10 compositions, most of which are Vasilic's own, while the rest are traditional and spiritual songs that Vasilic has arranged for various ensembles - from solo bass to piano trio to large ensemble with string quartet. As before, Vasilic combines jazz with elements of Balkan music and deepens this musical direction to unimaginable limits. Jazz, world music or simply Nenad Vasilic music with a new album that crosses all boundaries of musical genres and captivates with creativity and innovation.
