A slice of frothy escapist fun from 1961, Blue Hawaii rode a wave of fan excitement all the way to No 2 in the US box office. While the movie may not have tested Elvis Presley's acting skills, it featured one of his most popular soundtracks. A US and UK No.1 that became the second-highest-selling soundtrack album of the 60s (second only to West Side Story), the Blue Hawaii album included the fan-favourite title track and Rock-A-Hula Baby, plus Elvis' definitive version of Can't Help Falling In Love.
