The complete 6 Piano Trios by Mozart, as interpreted here by the Vega Trio, are works of high aesthetic value that will not only be a pleasure for the listener but also an enriching source of knowledge and reflection for the scholar. In the last decade, the object of interest of musicians� research has fallen mainly on neglected works, unknown texts of both male and female composers who have unjustly fallen into oblivion. Meanwhile, taste and aesthetics in the interpretation of the classics have continued to evolve, without on the other hand leaving any great testimony to it. For this reason, we do not believe that making a current recording of these trios, which Mozart believed �would be to Haydn�s taste�, is in vain.
