Rusquartet - Beethoven: String Quartets Op. 59 Nos 1 & 3 (Razumovsky)

RUSQUARTET was founded in 2001 at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory under the tutelage of Galina Soboleva, cellist of the Prokofiev Quartet. The members of Rusquartet are DMA graduates from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where they have been students of Dmitry Shebalin (violist of the Borodin Quartet).Adding to their recordings for the Etcetera label, this new recording presents Beethoven's Op.59 No's 1 and 3.In the first year of its quartet life RUSQUARTET participated in Beethoven Festival in Moscow, where it was awarded the diploma.
