The album was produced by Martin Simpson and Andy Seward and was engineered and mastered by Andy Seward. The sound quality and production are stunning, as is the musicianship. With the breathtaking dobro and guitar of Martin Simpson weaving around Gina�s vocals and her effortless acoustic guitar, Andy Cutting adds to the mood with his beautiful melodeon playing. All this is delicately underpinned with the sensitive percussion of Keith Angel and the soulful double bass of Hugh Bradley.Gina is best known as one of the top fiddle players of the UK�s folk scene and on this album she also proves herself to be a very fine singer, songwriter and guitarist.Six of the songs have been written by Gina, and she also composed the set of waltzes. There is one traditional song, one written by Hank Williams and a new take on a Lennon and McCartney classic. When asked how long the album took to make, Gina replied, All my life.
