Various Artists - Native Music 17: Traditional, Folk, World Music from Latvia

The Native Music 17 ethnic music compilation offers some of the newest music in a wide variety of Latvian roots genres.

The album includes recordings by the Sauc jas traditional singing group, instrumental dance arrangements by Folk 7, the acoustic trio Kalnejas, post-folk pioneers Ilgi, the bagpipe and drum group Auli with Banga and the Anima choir, the young women's group Tautumeitas, soloist Katrina Dimanta, the up-and-coming band Jora and the folktronic band Zari, among others.
