Tobias Lindstad Collective - Kismet

Intricate jazz from composer and vocalist Tobias Lindstad with an ensemble that includes some of Norway's best known jazz musicians; Jacob Young, �yvind Br�kke, Mathilde Grooss Viddal, Gunnar Halle, and others.

On this his Losen Records debut, 'Kismet' features a programme orginal compositions, including a three-part suite in homage to the late trumpeter, Kenny Wheeler.

Tobias is well versed in literature, poetry, philosophy and mysteries of the universe, subjects he takes as insperation for his compositions. His work is also without boudaries, be it classical music, chamber music, cool jazz, free improvisation, avant-garde rock or subtle pop melodies. All are part of his rich musical vocabulary.
