According To The Sound - Pitch

'Pitch' is the third release from pianist Adam Parry-Davies and guitarist Patrick Case, the British duo behind the conceptual band, According to The Sound. Featuring fourteen varying guest musicians on horns, electric and acoustic bass, electric guitar, synths, and drums, the production is a headed mix of jazz, fusion, urban, and chill-out grooves. The overall mood is consolatory and has a story telling quality that could have come straight out of a of movie soundtrack. Among the guest are Grammy Award Winning trumpeter Mike Rodriguez, Blue Note saxophonist James Carter, and Portishead and Get The Blessing bassist Jim Barr, among other notable players.
