Magnus Bakken - Slackline

Fusion jazz from Norwegian saxophonist Magnus Bakken and group that immediately reminds one of Tom Scott, Michael Brecker or even the Chick Corea Electric Band.

Bakken has released several albums as a co-leader (jazz/fusion group Ninjabeat on AMP Records) and leader, and as a much sought-after session musician; saxophonist George Garzone, drummer Jon Christensen, singer Macy Gray, and guitarist/singer Adam Douglas, to name just a few. 'Slackline' is his second release as leader.

Magnus studied at Berklee College of Music under saxophone supremo George Garzone, who also played on Bakken's highly praised debut album. 'Cycles'(2015).
