This is the first album taken from the music of the Lush Spa Bird song and an orchestral score places you in the Dorset countryside on a perfect English Sunday morning. Passing through the day into a fantastical twilight, you arrive at the heart of a still forest in the dark, deep, depth of the night. Soft rain brings in a glorious dawn chorus and then the clarion calls of rooks and jackdaws herald your journey off to Scarborough Fair. The DVD contains beautiful filmed images from the Dorset locations that inspired this music.The musicians assemble under three different names � Walking With Ghosts, The Nightjar Orchestra and The Petrels. The latter duo comprises Jackie Oates and Belinda O�Hooley. The other two aggregations are made up of Simon Emmerson plus various musicians drawn from The Imagined Village and further afield including Richard Evans, Simon Richmond, Martin Carthy, Kate Garrett, Andy Gangadeen, Ali Friend, John Metcalfe, Rose Doonan, Barney Morse-Brown, Eliza Carthy, Ben Murray, Show Of Hands, John Jones, and others.
