Karin Krog - Karin Krog Live

Legendary Norwegian singer Karin Krog recorded live from the club Bla in Oslo.

As I recall it was a pleasant late summer evening in downtown Oslo, when Karin Krog (vocals), Staffan William-Olsson (guitar) and Terje Gewelt (bass) stepped on stage in front of an expectant audience at the club Bla. There was nothing to suggest that anything especially remarkable was about to occur.

However, that evening turned out to be one of those amazing nights when musicians and audience join together in perfect harmony to produce something really magical. Luckily the sound engineer Peter Hurst from UK pressed the record button, and we are able to relive some of the musical magic from that evening on this CD. John Surman, producer
